Went there this Monday morning the 27th . The owner is great . Takes your order and makes sure you're taken care of . The food was great also. . Bottom line we will be comming back .

I was looking for a place to have breakfast on "there is NEVER parking available N San Fernando Blvd". A voila! A spot in front of The Great Grill. Been on this street hundreds of times and never saw their cute theater marquis sign before. ADORABLE 50's like diner (with juke box!) has the NICEST man serving diners. The food was perfect diner food! Big portions. Delicious coffee! The place is bright and friendly! Can't wait to go back - - if the parking Gods smile on me again!

Convenient location, great service, crispy wings, and stacked sandwiches. The Great Grill is a cool 1950s style dinner that serves breakfast all day.

Wow this place is amazing if you love Americana and diner culture. Interior is amazing! Love how they have a wall-o-matic plays 25 cent for 3 songs. Got the banana split and it was perfect. There was one server and she was super sweet and hard worker. There is parking in the front and also a parking lot with free parking around the corner. I would definitely come here again. Super fun experience

Welcome to your Time Machine back to the best parts of the 1950's! The food and great music! Bring some quarters and select a great song from the jukebox selection. Then there is the delicious food, from burgers to this delicious club sandwich everything made here is done so with love and care. Service is done with a smile and a friendly welcome. You'll never wait for refills and food comes out fast and hot!! For anyone interested in not just great food but a good environment this is the spot! Don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself!!

First wanna started off by saying we LOVE the ambiance in here! The vibe is great and it made it for a great time experience. The food was fantastic, I LOVE breakfast food and I think we found our new diner! Also the service was fantastic, she even made the booth a bit wider for me because I am chubby and I really appreciate that our server did that for us :)

In a part of LA that is filled with great diners, The Great Grill should be considered one of them in my opinion. They specialize in a 1950s retro theme from the music playing to the booths and tables that you are sitting in to all the signage on the wall. I'm already a huge fan of Bob's, Paty's, and a few others in the area and would consider this a solid breakfast option as well. The food was good, but my favorite part of the meal was the price, everything was just fair. Service was quick and all of our food items came out shortly after ordering. They don't have a parking lot attached, but there is a parking garage with the first two hours free directly behind the restaurant. The walking path that is just left of the entrance leads to the parking garage. They have a fairly large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics for both breakfast and lunch or dinner. We stopped in for brunch for our first time so we wanted to do some breakfast items. I chose the Country Breakfast which is a Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and toast and really enjoyed it. I would've liked hashbrowns more than the homefries that they used and also felt that the chicken fried steak was a little too crispy, but it still had somegreat flavors. Overall a really solid and fairly priced retro diner in Burbank. I would suggest to anyone searching for a good breakfast or lunch option where you can listen to the oldies while you dining.

50 style diner that stretches your buck and maximizes a good amount of food without hurting your wallet. Inside is super cute and the tables have a mini jukebox. My guy and I often explore San Fernando Ave with our dog. We have walked by countless times. This time, we decided to try them out. There are a few outdoor tables that were accommodating for the four-legged friend. We opted for the philly and the beef dip with fries. The fries were fresh and hot out of the fryer. Each sandwich and fries were $12.99. Food was good. They serve breakfast all day long. Service was friendly.

Very pleasant staff/waitress. Food and drinks were served up quick. (There's an up charge on card payments)

This little restaurant really gives off Mel's Diner vibes and really throws you back to the 50's. The food was also similar to most dinner spots with choices from all day breakfast to burgers to salads. I went with the super bird. All the flavor was there however I wished it was warm. I mean the bread was toasted and cheese was melted however the turkey was very cold like fresh out of the fridge cold. Maybe that's just how their super bird is and it was my fault for not clarifying. My son ordered boneless wings and they came out still frozen in the middle. Butttt they reheated them and gave us five extra wings.. so that made up for it.. the owners were adorable and very attentive and we would be back.. ohh, I forgot their ranch is amazing also.
